Wind power: Solvay and Fnac Darty sign a PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) with Valeco to supply green electricity to Fnac Darty sites in France

Paris, 28th of January 2021 -- Solvay, through its Solvay Energy Services entity, has signed a renewable electricity sales contract or PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) with the Fnac Darty distribution group in France and a wind farm in Occitania operated by Valeco. Corporate PPAs are long-term electricity purchase contracts signed directly between renewable energy producers and corporate consumers.
